Focusing on the Blur

"We cannot live for ourselves alone. Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return to us as results." -Herman Melville

Road Trip

This is a new breed of the common 4 legged creature that we all know and love. AKA: Odocoileus Arkansas Dodgileus Grande Caravanics. Seth and I saw this on our roadtrip back from Dallas, TX. this summer. I've personally never seen such a creature and could not keep myself from taking a picture for evidence.

Time flies like bugs on a windshield

Mt. Evans on the Echo Lake Trail
The summer is gone. There's snow in the "high country".I've been on some fantastic backpacking trips this summer, Colorado Trail, Mt. Holy Cross Wilderness. I'll attach some pics of the adventures!
So my brother's little family moved in with us (Jess n I) two weeks ago! It's been an adventure. I've chosen to get cozy with the underworld of our house. I've moved to our fantastically cemented and oh so nice basement laundry room. I've only killed one roommate so far, actually Seth did the deed for me, the little guy had eight legs and he was trying to make his way to the cozy papasan, sorry mister, no "cozy papasan" for you!

Below: Where we camped: Missouri Lake (Mt. Holy Cross Wilderness), first & only catch of the day : Hiking in Mt. Massive Wilderness
