Focusing on the Blur

"We cannot live for ourselves alone. Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return to us as results." -Herman Melville

Malmo, Skånksa, this place

An update....late in coming, but at least it came, or so I hope. 5 days in this little town. What else is there? I experienced the most amazing sunset tonight over the sea between Denmark and Sweden. I caught a glimpse of it from my hotel room, all I could think was camera, running shoes, go!!! I started running and didn't stop until I reached a small inlet with sailboats docked in their moorings waiting for the next sea adventure. I could run no further, not only was the sun beginning to sink behind the billowing clouds nestled on the horizon, but my lungs were on the verge of exploding in my chest. I have no idea how fast I ran, but who cares I got some amazing pictures, at least they seem amazing. Those of you who care to wonder why I couldn't just take a picture from my hotel room, this is Europe, where is the romance in that? I guess the fact that I couldn't actually see the sun from my room played a factor too! Oh, stop thinking about it. I wish you all could have shared in the ambiance of that moment by the sea, it was incredible. I'm home to Denver tomorrow....more adventures to come.

The sun is powerful for some reason. I found myself taking pictures of it in the carribean as well. We even planned our dinners around catching the sun setting. Plants point toward the sun and so do people.
